What’s coming
We ship something every week and write it down here every Friday. Dates are targets, and we say so when one moves.
Shipped, week by week
Track things, dub, templates, teams, and AI pictures
- Pick anything in the picture and the editor follows it as it moves: blur it, pixelate it, put a spotlight or a ring on it, pin a label to it, or keep it in view in a vertical crop.
- Dub a video into Spanish, Hindi, French, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese or English with a free built-in voice, with captions in the new language. With an ElevenLabs key it is your own voice, in more languages.
- Templates: save a look (captions, colours, shape, music, logo, closing card) and use it on any video, or start a video from one of nine ready-made outlines and drop your clips in.
- Teams: invite people by link as editors or viewers, share videos with the team, and comment at the exact moment you mean.
- Make a picture from a description, free (it carries a small mark unless you add a free Pollinations token). With a Replicate key, short video clips too.
- Several cameras of one podcast are lined up by their sound and cut to whoever is talking.
- A real background cut-out: replace the background with a colour, a photo or a clip.
- Cuts and pictures land on the beat of the music.
- Taking captions out of long videos is about one and a half times faster.
- Export in sharper HD redrawn by AI, only for the parts you kept.
Working on now: Polishing these and testing them on long podcasts.
Post straight from the editor
- Connect YouTube, Instagram and TikTok once, then post the finished video with its title, caption and hashtags.
- You see the upload and processing progress, and the link when it is up.
- Videos that are too long for a platform are stopped with a plain reason before anything is sent.
- Sign-ins are stored encrypted and you can disconnect any time.
Working on now: Switching each platform on with its approved app keys. Scheduling comes after that.
Easier to move around, and captions come out properly
- The Back button now takes you to the screen before, and Forward brings you back.
- Take captions, titles, handles and logos out of a video, whatever colour or style they are, with a progress bar while it works.
- If something cannot be erased cleanly it is blurred and you are told, never left in silently.
A big week for finishing touches
- Fix a dark or tinted picture in one tap, and steady shaky footage.
- Music made for your video, in four moods, with a soft sound on each cut.
- A name tag, a closing line and an optional mark on the finished video.
- Thumbnail designer: pick a frame, add words, get covers for every shape.
- Share a link so anyone can watch and comment, no sign-in.
- Blur or darken everything behind the speaker.
- Two people talking: cut to whoever is speaking.
- Write a script from an idea, read it off the screen and record in the browser.
- Add your own clips as cutaways, matched by file name.
Working on now: Making every one of these quicker and tidier, then starting on posting straight from the editor.
Still ahead
Building next
Work on these starts first.
Connect your channel once, then send the finished short with its title and description. The buttons are built and tested; this goes live when the YouTube app keys are in place.
Target:
Google must check the app before videos can be posted as public. Until then they go up private.
Send the finished reel to your Instagram professional account. The buttons are built and tested; this goes live when the Instagram app keys are in place.
Target:
Instagram has to approve the app first, and the account must be Business or Creator.
Post to TikTok live
Send the finished video to TikTok. The buttons are built and tested; this goes live when the TikTok app keys are in place.
Target:
TikTok has to approve the app. Until then every post goes up as "Only me".
Your footage library
Save your own clips once and use them in every video.
Target:

Sound effects
A set of hits, risers and swooshes placed where they help.
Target:
Sign in for teams
Real accounts for teams that work from different places, instead of the browser being the account.

We are testing whether we can make these good enough to ship.
